If you’re looking for something to do that will put a little jig in your step, head over to Easton Friday evening to hear the Sean Fleming Band perform in the historic Avalon Theater. Sean Fleming knows how to enchant a crowd with his sweet mix of original and pop tunes, from Celtic to rock to country and folk—all wrapped up with his wonderful sense of humor. Each of his band members brings with wealth of talent to the stage. You’ll hear Steve Holley on drums, Justin Jordan on guitar, and Bruce Gordon on guitar.
If you’ve never been to the Avalon Theatre, you’re in for a treat. The historic venue was constructed as a movie theater in 1921, touted “the Showcase of the Eastern Shore” with a magnificent 18-foot domed ceiling. Now fitted with state of the art sound and lighting, the Avalon Foundation hosts a variety of presentations, including musical and dramatic theater, symphony orchestras, film screenings, and a variety of national music acts.
Seating is by general admission and doors open 30 minutes in advance of the show. There is plenty of parking.
